A slow nod, Nate simply presses his forehead to Peter's then.
"I know," two words that are just as soft as his touch there to the man's neck. "Somehow I'll find the power to. Even if it takes me awhile." Hopefully just... before his time is up and his body burns out from that power.
Slowly, he gives a quiet shake of his head then and kisses Peter, letting himself pull back enough to really look to him because... yeah. He's here — really here in their house and no longer drifting above the city in his telekinetic little bubble. A blink of those blue eyes, he smiles a little sheepishly.
"Kind of like how I found myself to you here... all of a sudden."
He can't let himself think about that future. The one where eventually Nate is going to die if they can't find a way to change his future and stop what the bastard that designed him had done to him. He had to find a way though, somehow, someway.
Raising one hand to cup Nate's cheek, stroking his fingers lightly against his skin with a small smile.
"I was wondering how you managed that. I didn't know you could do that."
But if he could, did it mean then he could find Peter and bring himself to his world?
"Guess I'm just full of surprises." He smiles, letting himself lean into that touch there at his cheek.
Lifting a hand, fingers curl around Peter's wrist before they slide themselves to his palm instead, slipping his fingers between his to take his hand. "Thanks for talking to me," he says then, wearing that smile so gently on his lips still. "Thanks for making me come home."
"I will always give you space when you need it," he whispers, his fingers curling in against Nate's. "But know this. I will always be there for you. I will always want to be with you."
There with him. Whether in this world or any other they make it too.
He takes a step back, giving a tug on his hand. "Come on. Couch. Bed. Just come curl up with me and listen to me and my thoughts and shut out the rest of the world. Just let is be us."
